Last Week we read Greedy Cat. We brainstormed words that described either Greedy Cat or other characters from our story.

Meet Room 16

During our first days at school we decorated a balloon each of our favourite things that represented us. We used pictures from magazines. Mrs Hanson collected all our balloons together and has made a display for our classroom.

Meet Freddy and Daisy

Freddy and Daisy are two special toys that belong to our class. Each Friday Mrs Hanson will choose two children to take home either Freddy or Daisy and their diary for the weekend. Our job will be to look after them and write a diary entry about what we got up to with them in the weekend.  This Friday will be their first trip home with two special children. I'm sure they can't wait!

Our First Few Days

During our first few days at school this year we went for a walk around the new areas that we can play now that we are big Year 2's! We also made some colourful ripped paper names and discussed our class rules. We made a flower by tracing around our hands and this is displayed with our class rules to show we all agree with them.
